FPB Cable-Telecom Planned Maintenance Outages Scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday
FPB Cable-Telecom crews will conduct planned maintenance service interruptions in designated parts of the service area in an effort to migrate the existing cable-telecom infrastructure from the current headend facility into the newly constructed cable-telecom headend.
The necessary service interruptions will continue Wednesday, October 12 and Thursday, October 13. Staff plans to minimize voice, video and data outages on a neighborhood by neighborhood basis for as short a time as possible but customers should plan on outages between 9:00am and 2:00pm during the maintenance windows. Some outages may be up to two hours in duration.
Wednesday’s impacted areas: Bald Knob Rd., Flat Creek Rd., Dry Ridge Rd., Louisville Rd., Peytona Beach Rd., Louisville Rd., Old US60, Sheep Pen Rd., Lewis Ln., Big Eddy Rd., Travis Circle, Johnson Rd., Johnson Heights, Devil's Hollow Rd., Moss Ln., Sunny Hills, Parkside Dr., Pea Ridge Rd., Singleton Ln., Bald Knob Rd., McCann Ln., St. Johns Rd.
Thursday’s impacted areas: Peaks Mill Rd., Indian Gap, Inverness, Tierra Linda I, Tierra Linda III, Switzer Rd., Rocky Branch, Jones Ln., Schenkel Ln., Holt Ln., Justice Ln., Smither Hill, Coffeetree Rd., Moore Dr., Glenns Creek Rd., Vernon Cooper Dr., Sower Blvd., Flynn Ave.
The migration to the new facility will improve network reliability for customers and allow for enhanced service offerings in the future.
Singing Bridge Repairs/Closure Scheduled
FPB Electric crews have scheduled necessary maintenance that will require the closure of the Singing Bridge.
The bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning at 8:30am on Wednesday, October 12th through 11:00pm Thursday, October 13th. The closure is for the purpose of replacing the deck lighting on the bridge.
Pedestrian traffic will be available on the bridge’s sidewalk.
