October is here and that means post season baseball!

The National League Wildcard game is tonight in Pittsburgh, as the Pirates host the Cincinnati Reds. The winner moves on to play the St. Louis Cardinals in the five game NLDS. The loser sees their season come to an end.

REDS VS. PIRATES

The Reds and Pirates aren't strangers. These two Central Division teams played 19 times this season, with the Pirates winning 11, including three straight last weekend in Cincinnati to close the regular season.

Cincinnati sends Johnny Cueto to the mound to face Francisco Liriano.

Liriano has been great at home in PNC Park. He was 8-1 with a 1.47 ERA at PNC Park this season compared to 8-7 with a 4.33 ERA on the road and 0-2 with a 6.10 ERA in Cincinnati.

Cueto, Cincinnati’s ace, missed a large portion of the season due to injury. Although Cueto spent a lot of the season on the Disabled List, he did have success against Pittsburgh. Cueto made two starts against the Pirates at PNC Park this season and was 1-0 with an 0.73 ERA while allowing just three hits in 12 1/3 innings.

It should be an exciting game, as this is the first playoff game in Pittsburg since 1992.

RAYS VS. INDIANS

The American League Wildcard game is tomorrow night (Wednesday) at 8pm. Tampa Bay travels to Cleveland to take on the Indians. The winner of this game moves on to the ALDS and a series with the Boston Red Sox.

The American League Wildcard game is also on TBS.
