Louisville and Ohio will be on ESPN @ 3:30pm, September 1 on channel 31 and in HD on 531
Although the college football season kicks off Thursday night, many Frankfort Plant Board customers are eagerly awaiting the Saturday, Kentucky vs. Western Kentucky, and the Sunday, Louisville vs. Ohio games.
The UK-WKU game will be carried on ESPNews at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 31, which is on the FPB Preferred Cable tier. ESPNews is on channels 142 and 642 in high definition. FPB customers must have an advanced set-top converter in order to receive this game.
While we cannot take orders for FPB installation in time for the game, we are able to accommodate customers who feel they are able to install the advanced set-top converter themselves. If you are a Classic Cable customer you will need to upgrade to the Preferred Cable service, which requires an additional $12 per month above Classic Cable and an advanced set-top converter. Deposits may also be required.
There are three options for an advanced set-top converter you can select from. A standard definition converter is $5 per month, a high definition converter is $6 per month, and a high definition converter with a digital video recorder (DVR) is $10 per month.
You must call 352-4372 and place your order by noon Thursday, Aug. 29, to upgrade your service. You will then have until 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, to pick up your advanced set-top converter at the FPB Cable office at 306 Hickory Drive. Again, you need to have the ability to install the converter yourself in order to participate in this offer. FPB will not be able to schedule an installation for you.
