Mechanic

The successful candidate will assist in the repairs and/or perform preventive maintenance service on vehicles and equipment.

Graduation from high school or GED is required, plus a minimum of three years work experience with a particular emphasis in diesel and/or heavy truck experience. The candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be eligible to acquire a Commercial Driver’s License within first six months of employment. Compensation will be based on qualifications.

Electric Line Worker

The successful candidate will assist in the construction, service and maintenance of the transmission and distribution system of electric power.

Qualified applicants must have a high school education or equivalent plus related work experience. The successful candidate must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License or be eligible to acquire a Commercial Driver’s License within 6 months of employment. Must be able to respond to emergency situations at all hours consistent with departmental travel time policy or be willing to relocate.

Water Treatment Plant Operator

The successful candidate will be in responsible charge of the daily operation and maintenance of the water plant, including start-up and/or shut down of the plant and equipment.

Graduation from high school or equivalent. Candidates must possess and maintain a Water Treatment Plant Operators License issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky and must possess and maintain a valid Kentucky driver's license. This position will require working days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be able to respond to calls in emergency situations at all hours. Compensation will be based on qualifications.
