Electric Line Worker
The Frankfort Plant Board has an opening for a full-time Electric Line Worker. The successful candidate will assist in the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead, underground, and transmission circuits.
Qualified applicants must have a high school education or equivalent, plus a minimum of 7 to 11 months related experience. The successful candidate must possess and maintain a valid Kentucky driver's license and acquire a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and pole climbing training within 12 months of employment. Must be able to respond to emergencies at all hours consistent with departmental travel time policy of 30 minutes or be willing to relocate.
Compensation will be based on qualifications. We offer an excellent benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision insurance and membership in the KY Retirement System.
Account Executive
The Frankfort Plant Board has an opening for a full-time Account Executive. The successful candidate is responsible for administering the sales of ad insertion for the Cable Advertising accounts. The successful candidate is responsible for establishing new client accounts as well as maintaining existing client accounts, creating and coordinating sales packages, coordinating the production and completion of commercials, producing and maintaining schedules in support of Frankfort Plant Board marketing initiatives.
Qualified applicants must have a High school or GED, plus 5 years of directly related experience. Experience with ad sales and ad sales reporting software is preferred.
We offer an excellent earnings opportunity through commissioned sales with a $20,000, yearly base salary; and a great benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision insurance and membership in the KY Retirement System. All applicants must be able to successfully complete drug screening and background investigation. Must possess and maintain a valid Kentucky driver's license.
Easement Procurement Specialist
The Frankfort Plant Board has an opening for a part-time temporary Easement Procurement Specialist. The successful candidate will meet with property owners in Franklin County discussing FPB projects and acquiring utility easements. Ability to review and interpret legal documents such as deeds plats, surveys, and property records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualified applicants must have a high school education or equivalent, plus a minimum of 5 years related experience. The successful candidate must possess and maintain a valid Kentucky driver's license and be a Public Notary in the State of Kentucky. Must be able to work flexible hours all days of the week.
Water Engineer II
The Frankfort Plant Board has an opening for a full-time Water Engineer. The successful candidate under general direction will perform professional engineering functions to the water distribution and water treatment departments. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance to the public, plant board departments, and contractors.
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution. Registration as a professional engineer licensed in the state of Kentucky registration as an EIT within six months of employment date. If licensed in another state, the ability to obtain the registration through reciprocity within six months from the date of hire. Position is subject to after hour trouble calls to support water operations.
