Cable Advisory Committee Volunteer Needed
/FPB is seeking a volunteer to serve on the Cable Advisory Committee. The Cable Advisory Committee meets quarterly and assists the FPB Board of Directors with Cable TV programming decisions.

FPB Cable-Telecom Maintenance Window Today
/FPB will be conducting Cable-Telecom maintenance today from 11:30am-12:30pm. Customers in the following areas may see a brief interruption of services: Bald Knob, The Oaks, Stonewall Subdivision, Shenandoah Subdivision and Stewart Home. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience during these necessary upgrades.
Scam Alert
/It was brought to our attention that customers may be receiving phone calls from people representing themselves as FPB employees, asking about making payment on a past due bill. FPB does not call to solicit payment. If you receive a call, please do not share financial information or make any payment. For questions or information about FPB, please call 352-4372.
Non-Payment Disconnects
/All past due payments need to be received in the downtown office before 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 6 to avoid service interruption. Disconnects will begin Monday, June 9.

Water Quality Report
/The FPB Water Department routinely monitors and tests our water to insure it meets the highest standard of taste, quality and reliability. The results and findings from these tests are published in accordance with the federal Safe Drinking Water Act and can be found here - 2013 Water Quality Report.
The report will also be delivered to home mailboxes early in June.
Internet Issues Restored
/FPB Internet service should now be fully restored to all customers. Our third party provider made overnight repairs and upgrades. Internal testing indicates all service should be fully operational. We thank you for your patience.
FPB MOVES FXX to Classic Cable Lineup
/Frankfort Plant Board Classic Cable customers are about to receive an eXXtra channel!
FXX will move from FPB Preferred Cable channel 161 (High Definition on 661) to Classic Cable channel 59 and 559 in HD. The move takes place Friday afternoon (May 30).
FXX is known for airing popular FX programming and hit movies. FPB Cable-Telecom Superintendent John Higginbotham believes the move will make viewers very happy. “FX has a very loyal audience. The addition of FXX to the Classic Cable lineup gives customers another network where they can enjoy popular shows. We are delighted to move FXX to our Classic Cable lineup.”
FXX airs comedy series like, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”, “Ali G Rezurection” starring Sacha Baron Cohen, “The League”, “Arrested Development” and “Rescue Me”. FXX offers a host of popular movies, including: “Tropic Thunder”, “21 Jump Street”, and “We Bought a Zoo”.
In an additional lineup change, Universal HD will move from the HD Plus tier to Classic Cable. Universal HD will now be seen, in HD only, on channel 599. Formerly on channel 773, Universal HD is known for top flight movies, sports and series. WWE RAW, PGA golf and adventure sports like skateboarding and freestyle biking headline the sports lineup. Series’ like “House”, “Burn Notice” and “Law and Order” lead a lineup of many popular shows. Customers will need an HD advanced set top to view Universal HD.
