Boil Water Advisory Update

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the entire East Side of Frankfort areas included:

·       Martin Luther King Blvd

·       East Main St

·       Schenkel Ln

·       Steadmantown Ln

·       Georgetown Rd

·       Versailles Rd to I-64

·       US 421 South to Duckers Rd

·       This advisory includes any surrounding areas and/or subdivisions.

A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by a Sewer Contractor damaging a 16 inch pump line that supplies the east side of Frankfort.

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the effected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when this advisory is lifted.

Boil Water Advisory

Due to the water main break, there is a Boil Water Advisory in place for all of east Frankfort. We will pass along more specific areas as the information is available. As a precaution, areas from the Montrose Park area near East Main to all of east Frankfort should currently be considered a boil water area. Thank you for your patience.

Water Service Interruption

Due to a contractor hitting a water main, FPB Water service in a large area of east Frankfort is impacted with loss of service or low pressure. FPB is aware of the issue and making repairs. More information will follow when available. Thank you for your patience. 

Boil Water Advisory - Saturday, Jan. 24 @5pm

On Saturday, 1/24/15 there will be an interruption of water service from 7:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. in the following areas:

• 405 Mero St (Civic Center)
• Fountain Place Shops

Immediately following there will be a Boil Water Advisory.

Holiday Hours

FPB offices will be closed Monday, January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday.  Regular office hours will resume Tuesday, January 20. 

Scam Alert

Customers should be aware that FPB DOES NOT call customers requesting payment over the phone for any FPB service or late fee. FPB never does business this way. Should you ever receive a call from someone claiming to be an FPB employee, and you have any doubt as to their validity, please hang up and call our office to confirm. Individuals coming to your home claiming to be FPB employees should have proper identification. Anyone who cannot identify them-self to your satisfaction should be turned away. Disconnects Begin Monday, January 12th

All past due payments need to be received in the downtown office before 4:30pm Friday, January 9th to avoid service interruption.  Disconnects will begin Monday, January 12th.
