@fewpb.net Customers Changes

In the next few weeks, FPB will begin the process of shutting down our @fewpb.net email service.  FPB has developed a plan to provide affected customers with a solution to move their email, contacts, calendars, and Google Drive cloud storage files to another email account.  We will contact the affected @fewpb.net customers directly in the coming weeks with more information about how this process will work.  Please don’t panic.  We will provide more information with detailed steps for a successful transition in the coming weeks.

Boil Water Advisory Cancelled

 

Boil Water Advisory Is Now Cancelled

                                    Date: 3/17/15

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department forEnvironmental Protection has now cancelled the Boil Water Advisory.

This Advisory was issued 3/16/15 due to the loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.

The streets affected were:

• Conway St from W Fourth St to W Second St

• W Third St from Steele St to Conway St

• Thomas Pl.

Boil Water Advisory

Water service is interrupted or impacted at the 300 block of W. 3rd Street. This area includes the FPB Downtown Office and City Hall. Once water service is restored, a Boil Water Advisory will be ordered for the impacted area.

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the following area:

  • Conway St from W Fourth St to W Second St

  • W Third St from Steele St to Conway St

  • Thomas Pl.

    A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by a water main break.

    This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the effected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when this advisory is lifted.

MESSAGE FROM FRANKFORT and FRANKLIN CO. ROAD DEPARTMENTS

March 6, 2015 – The City of Frankfort

A combined workforce effort between the City of Frankfort and Franklin County to remove snow from the downtown area to help alleviate drainage problems will begin this evening at 6 p.m. and continue through the night. 

Snow removal will resume Saturday night at 6 p.m. if needed.

If possible, please move any vehicles, or be available to move vehicles from the streets so crews can remove as much snow as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience but this is a vital function and will help alleviate potential drainage and flooding problems.
