FPB Electric crews will conduct repairs this morning as a result of yesterday's weather related service interruption. Customers in Tierra Linda 1&2 and in Inverness will have electric service interrupted at 8:15 this morning. The repairs should only impact service for approximately 25 minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience during the necessary repairs.
While there are a few customers without power scattered throughout the FPB service area, most FPB customers should have service restored. If you are experiencing FPB Electric service issues, please call 352-4372 to report the problem. Thank you for your patience during the weather related issue.
The FPB Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants at the following locations on Tuesday, May 12:

Brighton Park
Bon Air Hills area
Devils Hollow Rd.
River Ridge Rd.
Moss Ln.

The Water Department manages water throughout our system by routinely monitoring and consistently collecting samples for chlorine residual and Total Coliform testing. We test by the size of our population by law, but we test over and above the requirements. We test at tanks, pump stations, and at construction sites for new lines. We also troubleshoot complaint calls from our customers. We do lead, copper and asbestos testing of our system and meet all environmental protection agency standards and have confirmed that there are no health concerns to our customers.

FPB non-pay disconnects begin May 11. To avoid cutoff, bills should be paid at the FPB downtown office by 4:30pm, Friday the 8th.
