FPB Schedules Electric Maintenance Outage for Sunday, June 14

Sunday morning (June 14), FPB Electric crews will conduct scheduled maintenance outages in large parts of our east Frankfort service area. This maintenance is to make system upgrades and preparations for a new substation section.

The area impacted includes: Douglas Ave., Lankford Ave., Missouri Ave., Hickory Hills Apt., Hickory Dr., Jonathon Ct., Myrtle Ave., Winding Way, Winding Way Ct., Allnutt Dr., parts of East Main, Rolling Acres, Meredith Ave., Fairview Ave., Aspen Ave., Bradley St., Elm St., and Pickett St.

The areas listed will not completely be without electric service. Some addresses in these areas will be impacted, some will not. One side of the street may be without power, the other side of the street may have power. Some houses will have power; some will not have power, etc. The maintenance will impact between 200-300 customers.

The maintenance window will begin at 6:30 AM Sunday, June 14 and power should be restored to the affected areas by 9:30 AM.

The scheduled work is contingent on favorable weather. If there is rain, the maintenance may be postponed and rescheduled. We appreciate customer patience during this necessary system maintenance and upgrade.

FPB Hydrant Flushing Locations for 6-5-15

The FPB Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants at the following locations Friday, June 5

  • Two Creeks
  • Georgetown Rd.
  • Steadmantown Ln.
  • Silver Lake Blvd.
  • Kings Daughters Dr.
  • Woodgate Rd.
  • Bondurant Dr.
  • Medical Heights Dr.

 

Please use caution when driving near these locations as there could be water standing in the road and crew members near the road.

The FPB Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants at the following locations Thursday, June 4

  • Versailles Rd.
  • Eastwood Shopping Center
  • Forest Hill
  • Commercial Dr.
  • 127 South
  • Leonardwood Dr.
  • Kings Daughters Dr.
  • Twilight Trl.

Please use caution when driving near these locations as there could be water standing in the road and crew members near the road.

Today and Thursday morning (June 3 and 4), FPB Electric crews will conduct scheduled maintenance outages in large parts of our east Frankfort service area. This maintenance is to make system upgrades and preparations for a new substation section.

The area impacted Wednesday, June 3 includes: Myrtle Ave., Greenhill Ave., Atwood Ave., Ivy Ave., Walden Way, Columbia Ave., Melvin Dr., Rancho Ct., Rancho Dr., Rolling Acres Dr. (from Myrtle Ave. to Jackson Dr.), Kendallwood Dr., Dewey Ct., Bender Dr., Harrod Ave., and Prince Hall Apartments.

The Thursday, June 4 maintenance area includes: Crestwood Subdivision, Birchwood Ave., Laurel St., Pinewood Ave., Chestnut Ave., Beechwood Ave., Crestwood Dr., Hillwood Ave., and East Main (from Linden to Versailles Rd.)

The areas listed will not completely be without electric service. Some addresses in these areas will be impacted, some will not. One side of the street may be without power, the other side of the street may have power. Some houses will have power; some will not have power, etc. The maintenance will impact between 200-300 customers each day.

The maintenance window will begin at 8:30 AM Wednesday and power should be restored to the affected areas by 11:30 AM. Thursday’s maintenance will be conducted at the same time (8:30am-11:30am).

The scheduled work is contingent on favorable weather. If there is rain, the maintenance may be postponed and rescheduled. We appreciate customer patience during this necessary system maintenance and upgrade.
