/All FPB phone service should be fully restored as of 2:30pm. The issue was due to a fiber break within our third party provider's infrastructure. Thank you for your patience during the service interruption.

/The third party provider has located the fiber break that caused wide spread outages. The outage has impacted customers throughout Kentucky and other states. FPB Schedules Electric Maintenance Outage for Sunday, June 14
/Sunday morning (June 14), FPB Electric crews will conduct scheduled maintenance outages in large parts of our east Frankfort service area. This maintenance is to make system upgrades and preparations for a new substation section.
The area impacted includes: Douglas Ave., Lankford Ave., Missouri Ave., Hickory Hills Apt., Hickory Dr., Jonathon Ct., Myrtle Ave., Winding Way, Winding Way Ct., Allnutt Dr., parts of East Main, Rolling Acres, Meredith Ave., Fairview Ave., Aspen Ave., Bradley St., Elm St., and Pickett St.
The areas listed will not completely be without electric service. Some addresses in these areas will be impacted, some will not. One side of the street may be without power, the other side of the street may have power. Some houses will have power; some will not have power, etc. The maintenance will impact between 200-300 customers.
The maintenance window will begin at 6:30 AM Sunday, June 14 and power should be restored to the affected areas by 9:30 AM.
The scheduled work is contingent on favorable weather. If there is rain, the maintenance may be postponed and rescheduled. We appreciate customer patience during this necessary system maintenance and upgrade.
