FPB Electric crews are beginning repair work on damaged electric lines in the Bentwood Subdivision. About 20-30 homes will be affected when power is disconnected for the repair on Aderly Lane and Tyburn Lane. This outage should last approximately one hour. Power will be restored as soon as repairs are completed.

FPB crews have worked through the night making repairs after last night's severe weather event. Crews are still working scattered outages. If customers are still experiencing service issues or need to report downed lines, please call 352-4372. FPB crews continue to work throughout the service area to restore power. A couple of the hardest hit areas are still without service. Crews are working these areas as quickly as possible. Thank you for your continued patience as FPB works to restore service in these weather battered areas.
FPB Electric crews continue to make service repairs caused by recent storms. Most customers should have power restored. Areas still heavily impacted include: Bald Knob, Benson Valley and Glenns Creek. Thank you for your continued patience during this weather-related service issue.
Due to severe weather, many areas are without power. Those impacted include: most of Downtown Frankfort, Devils Hollow, Benson Valley, Butterman Hill and Bald Knob. FPB crews are working on the issue. Thank you for your patience during this weather related service interruption.
All FPB phone service should be fully restored as of 2:30pm. The issue was due to a fiber break within our third party provider's infrastructure. Thank you for your patience during the service interruption.
The third party provider has located the fiber break that caused wide spread outages. The outage has impacted customers throughout Kentucky and other states. Service should slowly be restored in the near future, as the third party works with the impacted communities, including the FPB service area. Thank you for your continued patience.
UPDATE: 10:34am - FPB continues to work with our third party phone provider on the current service interruption. According to the third party provider, the issue is due to a fiber cut and is impacting customers throughout Kentucky and surrounding states. More updates will follow when available.
