FORCED ELECTRIC OUTAGE
/FPB Electric Crews must kill power in the Devils Hollow, Red Bridge, Pea Ridge, and Pierce Lane areas to address a dangerous electric situation. Power is estimated to be out between 20-30 minutes while repairs are made.
UPDATE: Sinkhole Road Closure
/UPDATE (4:14pm) from the KY Transportation Cabinet:
TRAFFIC ALERT - KY 2259 (Shelby Street) is closed at the intersection with 4th Street in downtown Frankfort. A portion of the pavement at this intersection has... collapsed due to a large hole that has formed in the ground underneath the roadway.
KYTC maintenance staff have closed the intersection of Shelby Street and 4th Street to traffic. Crews will spend the evening filling the hole below the roadway with concrete. Once this material has cured, they will patch the roadway with asphalt. This intersection will remain closed until late in the day on Thursday, August 13.
Sinkhole Road Closure

Due to a sinkhole in the street, the area at the corner of Shelby and 4th Streets is closed until further notice. Frankfort Police, FPB Water Dept., Frankfort City Sewer Dept. and various State Government agencies are on the scene. More information will follow when available.
Customers Beware of Security Scam
/FPB Customers should be aware of a possible scam throughout the community involving a security company. While FPB Security does work on home security systems, there are a number of keys to verify if the person is affiliated with FPB. If anyone approaches a residence claiming to be working on behalf of FPB Security, please know the following:
FPB Security will arrive in a clearly marked, FPB logoed van or truck.
All FPB Security employees will have an employee ID card and will present it upon arrival.
FPB employees will wear uniforms displaying the FPB logo.
FPB Security will call ahead to set an appointment. FPB does not make service calls unannounced or without first contacting the customer.
At no time does FPB use contract labor for security service. FPB employees conduct ALL FPB Security maintenance.
If you are approached by someone claiming to be working on behalf of FPB Security and the visitor does not have proof of FPB employment, DO NOT let them into your residence.

FPB Electric Outage Info
/FPB crews continue to make repairs after afternoon storms knocked out power in various service areas. In order to fully make repairs, FPB will conduct a planned outage around 10pm that will impact all of Ridgeview and a large portion of Indians Hills. The outage should be approximately 30 minutes in duration. Thank you for your continued patience.
