FPB Electric Service Interruption Planned for Sunday, August 16

Sunday morning (August 16), FPB Electric crews will conduct a scheduled maintenance outage in large parts of our west Frankfort service area. This maintenance is necessary to allow for voltage conversion, make system upgrades, and preparations for a new substation section.

The area impacted includes: Pierce Lane, Devils Hollow, Skyview Drive, Skyline Drive, Westridge Elementary, Moss Lane, Richardson Lane, Pea Ridge, King Lane, Holly Hill and part of the National Guard facilities.

The areas listed may not completely be without electric service. Some addresses in these areas will be impacted, some will not. One side of the street may be without power, the other side of the street may have power. Some houses will have power; some will not have power, etc. The maintenance will impact between 200-300 customers.

The maintenance window will begin at 6:00 AM Sunday, August 16 and power should be restored to the affected areas by 9:00 AM.

The scheduled work is contingent on favorable weather. If there is rain, the maintenance may be postponed and rescheduled. We appreciate customer patience during this necessary system maintenance and upgrade.

UPDATE: Sinkhole Road Closure
