Boil Water Advisory Canceled

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.

This Advisory was issued 10/20/15 due to the loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.  The streets affected were:

  • 80, 90, 94 Airport Rd
  • 1250 Louisville Rd

Boil Water Advisory - Airport Road Area

Once the water main break repairs are complete this evening and water restored in the Airport Road area, a boil water advisory will be in effect for the area. Three fire hydrants are out of service during the outage and their locations are:

1.       Behind 1100 Louisville Rd ( Fire Department)

2.       Behind 1250 Louisville Rd (State police)

3.       90 Airport Rd

Technical Difficulties

FPB is currently experiencing issues with satellite reception. This issue is affecting up to 30 channels on the system. We are aware of the problem and technicians are currently investigating the problem and will then work on a solution.
