Due to severe storms, FPB crews are working an electric service interruption in South Frankfort. Areas impacted include: Capital Avenue east and Todd St. to the KY River. We apologize for the inconvenience during these storm related issues.
FPB Water crews will be flushing fire hydrants at the following locations on Wednesday, June 22:
Ridgeview
Steadmantown Ln.
FCHS
Hydrant flushing is necessary to maintain the integrity and quality of the distribution system and to ensure hydrants are functioning properly. This will also allow FPB to obtain firefighting flow information, which is shared with city and county fire departments.
We ask that motorists please use caution in the flushing areas due to possible water in the roadway. Some discoloration may occur in your tap water; this is normal. If discoloration persists after running your faucet for a short time, please call 352-4372.
FPB Telephone crews will conduct planned maintenance service interruptions impacting ALL FPB Phone customers from 12:01AM until 6:00AM Tuesday, June 21. The interruption is needed to make additional upgrades to our phone service.
Telephone customers may see service affected or interrupted for approximately 10 minutes during two periods of this maintenance window.

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department forEnvironmental Protectionhas now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.
This Advisory was issued 6/17/16 due to the loss of pressure in the water main causedby Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.
The streets affected were:
• Grandview Dr from Elkhorn Dr to Laffoon Dr
• Laffoon Dr from Elkhorn Dr to Grandview Dr
• 229 and 235 Elkhorn Dr

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the following area:
• Grandview Dr from Elkhorn Dr to Laffoon Dr
• Laffoon Dr from Elkhorn Dr to Grandview Dr
• 229 and 235 Elkhorn Dr
A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main causedby Plant Board Crews repairing a water main break.
This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the effected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when this advisory is lifted.

FPB Water crews have interrupted water service in order to make repairs to a water main break at Grandview Dr. and Laffoon Dr. This service interruption will impact approximately 50 customers. Repairs should take about 4 Hours. After repairs, a Boil Water Advisory notice will be issued for the impacted area.
