FPB-TV Produces Program on Cycle Billing

FPB-TV has produced a video answering some of the most common questions related to the upcoming move to cycle billing. The video has started playback dates on FPB-TV and will also be available on video-on-demand. In addition, the video is available on FPB's YouTube page.

Temporary Electric Outage

FPB Electric Department crews will be cutting power at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday to make repairs resulting from damage received yesterday. The areas affected include: Big Eddy, Travis Circle, Harrod Stone, Kentucky Employees Credit Union, Franklin County Health Department, Cold Harbor Drive, and Wilson's Nursery.

Repairs are estimated to be completed by noon. We apologize for the inconvenience as we make these necessary repairs to the electric system.

Electric Service Restored

FPB Electric Crews have completed most of the repairs and restored most of the electric service throughout the FPB service area. The Skyview Drive area is still effected and crews are working to restore service as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience during this weather related service interruption. If you are still having an electric service issue and are not in the Skyview Drive area, please call 352-4372 to report you issue.   

Electric Outage - 12/26/16

FPB Electric crews are working to restore power to a couple of outages at this time. Those areas include parts of downtown Frankfort, the Jones Lane area, and Westland Drive. FPB crews are working to restore service as quickly as possible. Cable-Telecom services might also be effected in these areas due to loss of power. Thanks for your patience as crews work to restore service.  

Boil Water Advisory Canceled - 12/25/16

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.

This Advisory was issued 12/24/16 due to the loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.

The streets affected were:

• Benson Ave from 724 Benson Ave to Kentucky Ave

• Kentucky Ave from Benson Ave to Dabney St
