Boil Water Advisory issued - 1/12

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the following area:

• Allnut Dr from 113 Allnut Dr to Schenkel Ln

• 114 to 124 Schenkel Ln

A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main causedby a water main break.

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the effected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when this advisory is lifted.

FPB-TV Produces Program on Cycle Billing

FPB-TV has produced a video answering some of the most common questions related to the upcoming move to cycle billing. The video has started playback dates on FPB-TV and will also be available on video-on-demand. In addition, the video is available on FPB's YouTube page.

Temporary Electric Outage

FPB Electric Department crews will be cutting power at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday to make repairs resulting from damage received yesterday. The areas affected include: Big Eddy, Travis Circle, Harrod Stone, Kentucky Employees Credit Union, Franklin County Health Department, Cold Harbor Drive, and Wilson's Nursery.

Repairs are estimated to be completed by noon. We apologize for the inconvenience as we make these necessary repairs to the electric system.
