Water Distribution Operator I
The successful candidate will perform skilled maintenance, repair, and construction work on the potable water distribution system.

The successful candidate will be in responsible charge of the daily operation and maintenance of the water plant, including start-up and/or shut down of the plant and equipment.

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.
This Advisory was issued 1/12/17 due to the loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.
The streets affected were:
• Allnutt Dr from 113 Allnutt Dr to Schenkel Ln
• 114 to 124 Schenkel Ln

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the following area:
• Allnut Dr from 113 Allnut Dr to Schenkel Ln
• 114 to 124 Schenkel Ln
A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main causedby a water main break.
This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the effected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when this advisory is lifted.

As of 4:40 p.m., electric crews are now working on the last known outage. Power has been restored to all other areas and staff will be monitoring for additional outages as high wind conditions continue.
Frankfort Plant Board electric crews are currently responding to scattered power outages throughout the system due to high winds and fallen trees. Crews are working to restore services as soon as possible.
