FPB's Real Estate Classified (channel 26) and Photo Classified (channel 27) have merged and become FPB Marketplace. Now you can find real estate listings and all other for sale items in one place on FPB Cable channel 4. In cooperation with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, the Sheriff's Most Wanted listing is also available on channel 4.
As part of this move, channel 26 is now Charge TV, and soon, channel 27 will be TBD TV. These two channels are broadcast sub-channels from WDKY-TV in Lexington which FPB was required to launch per the terms of the retransmission agreement executed with Sinclair Broadcasting in 2015.
There are currently 12 electric customers off on Valley Vista, Dakota Dr., and part of Tanglewood Dr. FPB Electric crews are in the process of re-building part of the infrastructure, and once it is complete, there will be a need to Interrupt power to the remaining customers on Tanglewood to tie in the infrastructure. All of these repairs will be completed by 3:30 p.m. today.
Due to storm damage last night and early this morning, the FPB Electric Department will conduct a scheduled outage to make some temporary repairs related to the storms. The outage will start at 1:30 p.m. today and last no longer than two hours. The following streets will be affected by this outage: Leawood, Inwood, Edgemount, Thistle Wood, Belvoir, Cross Hill, and Brookheaven. Thank you for your patience as crews make these needed repairs.

4:01 am - FPB Electric crews are responding to numerous weather-related outages this morning. The largest outage is from Bridgeport/Old US 60 to Grafenburg Rd. Other smaller outages are present throughout the system.
There is currently no estimate for restoration. Thanks for your patience.
Frankfort Plant Board offices will be closed Monday, February 20 in observance of Presidents' Day. Regular office hours will resume Tuesday, February 21.
The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.
This Advisory was issued 2/13/17 due to the loss of pressure in the water main caused by a contractor damaging the water main.

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the following area:
A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by a contractor damaging the water main.
This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the effected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when this advisory is lifted.
