***UPDATE Water Main Break -Tatato Trail, BOIL WATER ADVISORY

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the following area:

 

  • Tatato Trl from Hopi Trl to Chinook Trl ( excludes 430 Chinook Trl )

  • Seneca Trl from Tatato Trl to Menominee Trl ( excludes 1214 Seneca Trl  )

  • 516 Menominee Trl

  •  Nootka Trl

  • Chinook Trl from Powhatten Trl to Tatato Trl

     

     

    A vigorous boil, is recommended for at least two minutes. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.

     

    This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the effected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

Water Main Break - Tatato Trail

The Frankfort Plant Board water department is currently making repairs to a water main break on Tatato Trail, which will cause a disruption in water service to the following areas: Tatato Trail from Hopi Trail to Chinook Trail (excludes 430 Chinook Trail), Seneca Trail from Tatato Trail to Menominee Trail (excludes 1212 and 1214 Seneca Trail), 516 Menominee Trail, and 434 Nootka Trail. Water department personnel estimate that the repairs will take approximately 2 hours to complete. Following the restoration of water service, a boil water advisory will be issued.

*** UPDATE *** Water Boil Advisory for Signal Ridge Area Lifted

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.

 

This Advisory was issued 6/10/19 due to the loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.

 

The area affected was:

 

·      Signal Ridge Rd

·      12 and 14 Still Water Ct

·      Collins Landing

·      River Oak Dr

·      Lock View Ct

·      721 River Ridge Rd

*UPDATE* Water main repairs complete

The water main break on Signal Ridge Road has been repaired and water service is restored. Frankfort Plant Board water department crews will be in the area conducting flushes of fire hydrants, which should alleviate some pressure in the lines as well as discoloration of the water. A boil water advisory is still in effect for the following areas: Signal Ridge Road, White Water Court, Collins Landing, River Oak Drive, Lock View Court, 12 and 14 Still Water Court, and 721 River Ridge Road.

Water in the area of the water main break has been turned off to initiate repairs. This will cause an interruption in water service. Crews are on site working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. A boil water advisory has also been issued, effecting the following areas: Signal Ridge Road, White Water Court, Collins Landing, River Oak Drive, Lock View Court, 12 and 14 Still Water Court, and 721 River Ridge Road.
