The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.
This advisory was issued 6/19/19 due to the loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.
The area affected was:
Tatato Trl from Hopi Trl to Chinook Trl ( excludes 430 Chinook Trl )
Seneca Trl from Tatato Trl to Menominee Trl ( excludes 1214 Seneca Trl )
516 Menominee Trl
Nootka Trl
Chinook Trl from Powhatten Trl to Tatato Trl

A vigorous boil, is recommended for at least two minutes. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.
This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the effected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

The Frankfort Plant Board water department is currently making repairs to a water main break on Tatato Trail, which will cause a disruption in water service to the following areas: Tatato Trail from Hopi Trail to Chinook Trail (excludes 430 Chinook Trail), Seneca Trail from Tatato Trail to Menominee Trail (excludes 1212 and 1214 Seneca Trail), 516 Menominee Trail, and 434 Nootka Trail. Water department personnel estimate that the repairs will take approximately 2 hours to complete. Following the restoration of water service, a boil water advisory will be issued.
Power in the Dogwood Ln area has been restored.
Electric crews are currently working on Dogwood Ln to repair a downed line due to the storm. Service in this area will be temporarily interrupted. The interruption is expected to last about two hours. We appreciate your patience as we work to restore power.

The electric outage that was affecting the area off of Reed Dr. has been resolved. Electric service to the area has been restored.
