The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.
This advisory was issued 6/24/19 due to the loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.
The area affected was:
· Shelby St from W 4th St to W 2nd St
· Adele Place
· 213 and 117 W 2nd St

One block of Shelby Street will be closed from Second Street to Third Street in order for the FPB Water Department to finish repairs on the water main break from Monday. Road will be closed from about 8:30 this morning until at least 2 this afternoon. Please plan accordingly. Thank you.
The Frankfort Plant Board water department is currently working to repair a water main break in the area of Shelby Street. This will result in water service interruption during the repairs, which they estimate will take approximately 4 hours. Areas affected are: Shelby Street from West 4th Street to West 2nd Street, Adele Place, 117 West 2nd Street, and 213 West Second Street. Following restoration of service, a boil water advisory will be issued.
Power has been restored in the Schenkel Lane, Colony, and Landings subdivisions.
FPB is currently experiencing an electrical outage in the Schenkel Lane, Colony, and Landings subdivisions. Crews are currently working to restore power as soon and safely a possible.

A vigorous boil, is recommended for at least two minutes. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.
This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the effected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

The Frankfort Plant Board water department is currently making repairs to a water main break on Tatato Trail, which will cause a disruption in water service to the following areas: Tatato Trail from Hopi Trail to Chinook Trail (excludes 430 Chinook Trail), Seneca Trail from Tatato Trail to Menominee Trail (excludes 1212 and 1214 Seneca Trail), 516 Menominee Trail, and 434 Nootka Trail. Water department personnel estimate that the repairs will take approximately 2 hours to complete. Following the restoration of water service, a boil water advisory will be issued.
