Traffic alert for downtown area, July 21-23

Motorists will have no access to High St. or West Main from the Capital Ave. Bridge from July 21 through July 23. The FPB Water Department will be crossing High St. with a new 12-inch water main. Access to East Main going east from the Capital Ave. Bridge will still be available.

All small vehicle traffic should use the Singing Bridge. Large vehicle traffic should use the existing detour or Wilkinson Blvd., Holmes St. or Taylor Ave.

Motorists should use caution and avoid the area if at all possible.
