FPB Water crews will be flushing fire hydrants at the following locations on Wednesday August 12th.

Hoover Blvd.
The Meadows

Hydrant flushing is necessary to maintain the integrity and quality of the distribution system and to ensure hydrants are functioning properly. This will also allow FPB to obtain firefighting flow information, which is shared with city and county fire departments.

Boil Water Advisory East Main/Broadway/High Street

The Frankfort Plant Board water department has issued a boil water advisory for the following locations:

100 and 112 East Main Street

315, 406, and 408 High Street

100 and 106 East Broadway

100 and 119 West Broadway

A vigorous boil is recommended for at least two minutes. This is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure caused by repairs to a water main break. The advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. Interruption of Water Service - West Main/Ann St.

On Tuesday 8/11/2020, there will be an interruption of water service from 5:00 PM until 11:00 P.M. in the following areas:

111 to 130 West Main Street

305 Ann Street

Immediately following there will be a Boil Water Advisory.

A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews tying in a new water main.

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.
