/WDRB is will conduct routine network maintenance on Saturday, August 15. The means channels 4 and 504 will be intermittently out tomorrow between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

FPB Water crews will be flushing fire hydrants at the following locations on Friday August 14th.

Twilight Trail
Shady :Ln.
Duckers Rd.
Democratic Dr.
Steele St.
Grassy Springs
Hydrant flushing is necessary to maintain the integrity and quality of the distribution system and to ensure hydrants are functioning properly. This will also allow FPB to obtain firefighting flow information, which is shared with city and county fire departments.
Motorists should please use caution in the flushing areas due to possible water in the roadway. Some discoloration may occur in your tap water. This is normal. If discoloration persists after running your faucet for a time, please call 352-4372.
The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.
This Advisory was issued 8/11/20 due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews tying in a new water main.
The area affected was:
· 111 to 130 West Main Street
· 305 Ann Street

The FPB Department of Water will close West Main from High St. to St. Clair on Wednesday, August 12, from 5 p.m. to midnight. Eastbound traffic will be diverted onto Lewis St. No left turn will be accessible from Ann St. onto W. Main.

100 and 119 West Broadway
A vigorous boil is recommended for at least two minutes. This is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure caused by repairs to a water main break. The advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink.
