An emergency cable line repair is currently taking place due to serious damage caused by a squirrel. This repair is needed to prevent any further outages or issues.

Streets affected include portions of:

  • Compton Dr.

  • Fair Oaks Ln.

  • Lewis Ferry

  • Oaklawn

  • Pleasant Hill

  • Reilly Road

  • Wilkinson Blvd.

  • Belair Dr.

  • Cody Pass

Boil Water Advisory - Blueridge Dr.

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the following area:

A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a main break.

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

FPB has recently been made aware that a salesperson is going door to door in Franklin County stating that Spectrum has purchased FPB and customers should sign up with Spectrum for voice, video, and data services.  This is completely false.  Spectrum and FPB are completely independent telecommunications service providers.  

FPB does not go door to door selling residential telecommunication services.  If a salesperson claims to be an FPB employee or makes any representations regarding FPB services, we encourage you to ask to see their FPB identification badge and contact FPB at 502-352-4372 to confirm their identity.
