Hydrant Flushing Locations for 7-23-2021
/FPB Water crews will be flushing fire hydrants at the following locations on Friday, July 23rd.
Collins Lane Area
Hydrant flushing is necessary to maintain the integrity and quality of the distribution system and to ensure hydrants are functioning properly. This will also allow FPB to obtain firefighting flow information, which is shared with city and county fire departments.

/FPB Water crews will be flushing fire hydrants at the following locations on Thursday, July 22nd.

Hydrant flushing is necessary to maintain the integrity and quality of the distribution system and to ensure hydrants are functioning properly. This will also allow FPB to obtain firefighting flow information, which is shared with city and county fire departments.

*** Boil Water Advisory Canceled **
/The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.
This Advisory was issued 7/20/21 due to a loss of water pressure caused by plant board crews cutting and capping the old water main.
The area affected was:

** Interruption of Water Service / Boil Advisory **
/On Tuesday 7/20/2021, there will be an interruption of water
service from 10:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. in the following areas:
· 100, 104, and 106 South University Dr.
· 101 Young Dr.
Immediately following there will be a Boil Water Advisory.
A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews cutting and capping the old water main.
This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.
