** Boil Water Advisory / Deerwood Dr. **

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the following area:

A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

Interruption of water service/Boil water advisory 10/11/22

Today, Tuesday 10/11/2022, there will be an interruption of water service from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the following areas:

·   100 Minuteman Pkwy. #120, #121, #124, #166, and #168

·   249 Juniper Dr.

Immediately following there will be a Boil Water Advisory.

A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews cutting and capping the old water main.

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

Water meter replacements on Ashwood Ct.

The Water Department is upgrading water meters on Ashwood Court this week. Residents in that area may experience a brief interruption of water service during this process.

** Boil Water Advisory Canceled / Wright St. **

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.

This Advisory was issued 9/24/22 due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by plant board crews repairing a water main break.

The area affected was:

·  230 to 251 Wright St.

Update Water Main Break Ashwood Ct/Cedarcrest Ct

The water main break has been fixed at this time and water is back on as normal. There is NO boil water advisory for the area. Thank you for your patience.

We currently have water crews on site to repair a water main break in the area of Ashwood Ct and Cedarcrest Ct. It is unknown how long it will take to complete but crews are working to get it done as soon as possible. If a boil water advisory is necessary that information will be posted.
