Thursday 1/19/2023, there will be an interruption of water service from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. in the following areas:

Immediately following there will be a Boil Water Advisory.

A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a broken valve.

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.

This Advisory was issued 1/12/23 due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.

The area affected was:

·  4835 Clifton Rd. to 5075 Clifton Rd.

·  2910 Steele Rd.

Update - Cable/Internet/Telecom Outages

The majority of our service areas have been restored. The only area still experiencing an outage is the Peaks Mill area.

This includes:

1. Manley Leestown

2. 127 North (Peaks Mill RD)

3. Owenton RD

4. Stonewall Subdivision

Cable/Internet/Telecom Outage

We are currently experiencing a cable/internet/telcom outage in the following areas:

1. Silverlake

2. Maples

3. Georgetown Rd

4. Ravencrest Apts

5. Arnold Ridge

6. Switzer

7. Owenton Rd

This is due to a KU power outage and they are currently assessing the situation. Once power is restored to our equipment, everything should be restored.

FPB currently working on telecom outages

As a result of the winter storm, some FPB customers are experiencing telecom outages affecting their cable and internet services. The areas affected include:

• Peaks Mill/Ridgeview area

• Rolling Acres

• Duckers Station

• Old Lawrenceburg Road area

• Owenton Road

Some of these outages may be due to electric outages with Kentucky Utilities and Bluegrass Energy. FPB’s Telecom crews are working today to make repairs and reconnect service as quickly and as safely as possible.
