The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.

 

This Advisory was issued 10/23/24 due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by plant board crews repairing a water main break.

Boil Water Advisory - River Bend Area

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the following areas:

  • River Ridge Rd

  • River Bend Rd

  • Palisades Dr

  • Pinnacle Ct

  • Crown Point Dr

  • River Bluff Dr

  • Still Water Ct

  • White Water Ct

  • Collins Landing

  • Signal Ridge Rd

  • River Oak Dr

  • Lock View Dr

  • Sandbar Ln

A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

How to Stream Tonight's UK vs Kentucky Wesleyan Basketball Game on SECN+

UK basketball game will be streamed online tonight; not on cable TV

FPB cable subscribers have access through SECN+

 

FRANKFORT – Frankfort Plant Board cable customers will have access to stream the UK basketball exhibition game Wednesday October 23rd against Kentucky Wesleyan through the internet even though it will not be aired on cable TV. FPB Cable customers who receive SEC Network as part of their cable package can watch the game via SECN+ on the ESPN app.

 

Here are the steps you need to complete to view the game online:

 

1.     If you do not have a myFPB account, you will need to register for one prior to the game. Go to my.fpb.cc and follow the prompts to register for your myFPB account. You will also need a copy of your FPB bill.

2.     Download the ESPN app or go to www.espn.com/watch. The ESPN App is available on: iOS, Android, Chromecast, FireTV, Apple TV, Roku, PlayStation, Xbox, Samsung Smart TV, Kindle Fire, Windows.

3.     Before the game starts, open the ESPN app, click on Watch.

4.     Scroll down until you see the list of Channels (ESPN, ESPN2, SEC Network, etc).

5.     Click on SECN+.

6.     Choose Frankfort Plant Board as your TV provider.

7.     Log in with your myFPB login and password.

8.     This should unlock the stream for the game.

 

NOTE: If you are an FPB cable customer, you do not need to subscribe to ESPN+ in order to watch the game.
