The Frankfort Plant Board has been made aware of door-to-door salespeople in the Frankfort and Franklin County area selling solar panel installations. They suggest that they are partnering with the Frankfort Plant Board. We are not working with nor are we affiliated with any residential solar sales company.   

Anyone coming to your home on behalf of FPB will be a uniformed Frankfort Plant Board employee or contractor with an FPB identification badge.

Power Outage - East Side

We are experiencing a power outage in the Indian Hills, Crestwood, and Schenkel Lane areas affecting approx. 400 customers.

This is also affecting cable/internet/telecom services in the Colony and surrounding areas.

Crews are working as quickly, and as safely as possible to restore service.

Boil Water Advisory - Cancellation

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.

 

This Advisory was issued 11/26/24 due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by plant board crews repairing a water main break.

 

The area affected was:

 

 

·      202,203,206,206,207,208,209,211, 210,215,212,216,219,220,225,226 Blueridge Dr.

Boil Water Advisory - Blueridge Dr

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises you to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the following area:

  • 202,203,206,206,207,208,209,211, 210,215,212,216,219,220,225,226 Blueridge Dr.

A vigorous boil for at least three minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink.

You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

Telecom Service Interruption

We are experiencing a telecom outage in the Georgetown Rd, Imperial Tr Pk, and N. Scuggs Lane areas due to a KU Electric interruption.This is affecting cable, internet, and phone services. Electric Outage

We are currently experiencing an electric outage that is affecting approximately 80 customers for Big Eddy Beach Road, Glenns Creek Road, and Travis Circle. We are currently working to remedy this issue and will have updates posted once they are available. Crews are working as quickly, and as safely as possible to restore service.
