FPB Returns to Disinfection with Chloramines

After completing necessary equipment repairs, the Frankfort Plant Board has returned to the ordinary mode of disinfecting the drinking water with chloramines on Tuesday, July 30. The slight chlorine or bleach odor in the water should dissipate over the next few days.

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.

This Advisory was issued 12/30/24 due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by plant board crews repairing a water main break.

The area affected was:

· 102, 112, 108, 114, 110, 107, 105, 104, 106, 103 #1-4 Oakmont Ln.

· 110 Lindenwood Ln.
