Boil Water Advisory - Thornhill Heights

Boil Water Advisory  Date: 1/27/2020  

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the following area:  

·      Hillcrest Ave. ·      605 Greenup Ave.

·      734 Holmes St. ·      744 Fields Ave.

·      101 Henry St. ·      Clifton Ave.

·      516, 614 Cheek St. ·      McCreary Ave.

·      401, 402 Fifth Ave. ·      Blackburn Ave.

·      756, 772, 776 Owenton Ave.

A vigorous boil, is recommended for at least two minutes. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews installing a line stop valve.   This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the effected area is safe to drink.
