FPB has restored electric service to the areas of old Lawrenceburg Rd., Leewood Dr., Berry Hill Villa,  Berry Hill Dr., and the  State Capitol. 

Electric Outage

FPB is experiencing an electric outage affecting the areas of old Lawrenceburg rd, Leewood Dr, Berry Hill Villa,  Berry Hill Dr., State Capital. Crews are currently working on the problem.

Water Service Being Restored

Work has been completed and water should be returning to the following areas:

• Meadowview Dr from Woodhill Ln to Hawthorne Dr.
• Hawthorne Dr from Tinderwood Dr to Briarwood Pl.
• Briarwood Pl from Hawthorne Dr to Wildwood Pl.
• Wildwood Pl from Briarwood Pl to Ridgewood Ln.
• Cherry Knoll Pl.
• Tinderwood Dr from Hawthorne drive to the end of the line
• Pin Oak Pl from Wildwood Pl to Hawthorne Dr.

It may take some time for water pressure to return to normal but please remember a boil water advisory is also in effect.  

A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews replacing a broken main line valve.

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

Service Interruption - Tuesday 8-26-14

“Immediately following there will be a Boil Water Advisory.”

On Tuesday 08/26/14 there will be an interruption of water service from 9:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. in the following areas:

• Meadowview Dr from Woodhill Ln to Hawthorne Dr.
• Hawthorne Dr from Tinderwood Dr to Briarwood Pl.
• Briarwood Pl from Hawthorne Dr to Wildwood Pl.
• Wildwood Pl from Briarwood Pl to Ridgewood Ln.

• Tinderwood Dr from Hawthorne drive to the end of the line
• Pin Oak Pl from Wildwood Pl to Hawthorne Dr.

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.

This Advisory was issued 8/23/14 due to the loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews disconnecting the old water main and tying in the new relocated water main.

The streets affected were:

• 100 to 200 and 350 Fair Oaks Ln
• 1001 Fair Oaks Ln
• 1209,1211, 1219 Wilkinson Blvd

• Coldstream Dr from Springhill Dr to Pinehurst Dr.
• Pinehurst Dr.

A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by a water main break.

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when this advisory is lifted.

Attention FPB Internet Customers

FPB received late notice that there will be a maintenance window scheduled by one of our Internet backbone providers beginning at midnight (Tuesday August 19 - 12:01am to 5am). 

The upstream provider will be conducting maintenance on equipment which may interrupt Internet service for all FPB customers.  Our provider will strive to keep the outage as brief as possible.  FPB Internet customers may see intermittent service or full outage of service during this window.
