/All past due payments need to be received in the downtown office before 4:30 p.m. Monday, September 8 to avoid service interruption. Disconnects will begin Tuesday, September 9.
Electric Service Restored
/FPB crews have made the necessary repairs and all electric service should be restored. Thank you for your patience during the service interruption.
Electric Service Interruption
/Due to a fire on a utility pole, FPB Electric service will be interrupted to make repairs in the Holmes Street area. Areas impacted include: Holmes St, Colony, Thornhill, And Owenton Avenue among others. FPB crews and first responders are on the scene. More information will follow when available.
Versailles Road Closed
/Both lanes of Versailles Rd. are closed. An accident at 284 Versailles Rd caused a downed utility pole. Road closure both ways.
Police and utility crews are on the scene. There is a detour at Sunset Dr and Lyons Dr.
Cable-Telecom Service Information
/FPB Cable-Telecom customers in the Lewis Ferry and Manley-Leestown Road area are still without service due to significant damage from last night’s storm. FPB crews are in the area and will have repairs completed as soon as possible. If you live outside of this area and are still experiencing outages with FPB Cable-Telecom services, please report the problem to FPB at 352-4372. Thank you for your patience as we work to restore services as quickly as possible.
FPB Electric Service Update
/Most FPB Electric customers that were impacted by the recent storms have power restored. FPB crews are still working a number of small outages throughout the service area. Thank you for your continued patience.
Storms Causing Electric Interruptions
/Customers throughout the FPB service area may be experiencing power interruptions due to the severe storms passing through the area. FPB crews are working on the issues. Thank you for your patience during these extreme weather conditions.
Boil Water Advisory Canceled
/The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.
This Advisory was issued 8/26/14 due to the loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews replacing a broken main line valve.
The streets affected were:
- Meadowview Dr from Woodhill Ln to Hawthorne Dr.
- Hawthorne Dr from Tinderwood Dr to Briarwood Pl.
- Briarwood Pl from Hawthorne Dr to Wildwood Pl.
- Wildwood Pl from Briarwood Pl to Ridgewood Ln.
- Cherry Knoll Pl.
- Tinderwood Dr from Hawthorne Dr to the end of the cul-de-sac
- Pin Oak Pl from Wildwood Pl to Hawthorne Dr.
