Due to a fire on an electric pole, electric service has been impacted to some customers in the eastern portion of the FPB Service area near US Hwy 421 and Chenault Rd. Customers impacted include the TOPY Aluminum Plant. FPB and fire crews are working to restore service. Thank you for your patience.
All past due payments need to be received in the downtown office before 4:30 p.m. Friday, November 7th to avoid service interruption. Disconnects will begin Monday, November 10th.
The Boil Water Advisories issued Thursday, October 23 for Peaks Mill Rd, Birchwood Ave., Chestnut Dr., and Pinewood Ave. have now been canceled.
A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by a water main break.
This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

Due to damage from last night’s storms, FPB Cable-Telecom crews will be making repairs in a portion of the service area.
In order to make the necessary repairs, customers will experience a service interruption. The impacted areas include:
Georgetown Road, Scruggs Lane, Switzer Road, Jones Lane and Elkhorn Trailer Park.
All cable-telecom services in the area will be impacted (broadband, cable, phone). Crews estimate the repairs could take 4-6 hours.
