The Frankfort Plant Board (FPB) News and Updates page provides customers detailed information on all pertinent happenings regarding FPB including, boil water advisories, network negotiations, outage reports and more.
Due to a contractor hitting a water main, FPB Water service in a large area of east Frankfort is impacted with loss of service or low pressure. FPB is aware of the issue and making repairs. More information will follow when available. Thank you for your patience.
Immediately following there will be a Boil Water Advisory.
A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews installing a new main line valve.
This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

FPB offices will be closed Monday, January 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday. Regular office hours will resume Tuesday, January 20.
Customers should be aware that FPB DOES NOT call customers requesting payment over the phone for any FPB service or late fee. FPB never does business this way. Should you ever receive a call from someone claiming to be an FPB employee, and you have any doubt as to their validity, please hang up and call our office to confirm. Individuals coming to your home claiming to be FPB employees should have proper identification. Anyone who cannot identify them-self to your satisfaction should be turned away. All past due payments need to be received in the downtown office before 4:30pm Friday, January 9th to avoid service interruption. Disconnects will begin Monday, January 12th.
Together with our third party provider, FPB has resolved the issues that caused an FPB phone outage affecting our customers. FPB appreciates the patience of our customers during the impacted period.

FPB is currently experiencing telephone service problems with several of our circuits going to AT&T. We are aware of the problem and are working with AT&T to resolve these issues. Updates will follow when available. Thank you for your patience during this service issue.
Beginning December 31, NBC Sports Network will be part of the FPB Classic Cable lineup on channel 38 and in High Definition on 538. Customers using a QAM tuner to receive Classic Cable service will need to rescan their TV in order to view channel 38.
The move from FPB’s Preferred tier to Classic Cable was part of the recent NBC Universal contract renewal.
NBC Sports Network offers a wide variety of programming including: Premier League Soccer, motor sports, adventure sports, NFL coverage and horse racing, including exclusive coverage of the 2015 Breeders Cup at Keeneland Race Course .
FPB Classic Cable subscribers can watch NBC Sports Network’s live simulcast and other on demand programming for free by using the NBC Sports Live Extra mobile app through Watch TV Everywhere.
