Hydrant Flushing for 4/22/16

FPB Water crews will be flushing fire hydrants at the following locations on Friday, April 22:

  • Myrtle Ave.
  • Hickory Dr.
  • Lyons Dr.
  • Old Lawrenceburg Rd.
  • Capital Ave.
  • Shelby St.
  • Logan St.

Hydrant flushing is necessary to maintain the integrity and quality of the distribution system and to insure hydrants are functioning properly.  This will also allow FPB to obtain firefighting flow information, which is shared with city and county fire departments. 

We ask that motorists please use caution in the flushing areas due to possible water in the roadway.  Some discoloration may occur in your tap water; this is normal.  If discoloration persists after running your faucet for a short time, please call 352-4372.

  • East West Connector

  • Sower Blvd.

  • Athletic Dr.

  • Moore Dr.

  • Hickory Dr.

FPB Begins Annual Fire Hydrant Flushing April 18

The Frankfort Plant Board will begin its annual fire hydrant flushing on Monday, April 18, 2016.

Hydrant flushing is necessary to maintain the integrity and quality of the distribution system and to insure hydrants are functioning properly.  This will also allow FPB to obtain firefighting flow information, which is shared with city and county fire departments. 

We ask that motorists please use caution in the flushing area due to possible water in the roadway.  Some discoloration may occur in your tap water; this is normal.  If discoloration persists after running your faucet for a short time, please call 352-4372.

  • Pay your bill online for FREE! With our new eCheck option, we have added the ability to accept payment online with no additional fees. All you need is a bank account. Go to the Pay My Bill page for more details.

  • Additional Customer Service contact options. Use the new Contact Customer Service link on your my.FPB web portal to send us Questions about your Bill, Report Trouble with an FPB Service, Request Changes to your FPB Services, provide Comments about your my.FPB experiences, or Suggestions about features you’d like to see us add in the future.

  • New Notification Options. Would you like to know when your Payment has been received? If your Account is Past Due and about to get Late Fees? Would you like to get notified about Planned Service Outage Maintenance in your area? Visit the Notifications Page in your Account Settings.
