Notice of Special Meeting: FPB Board of Directors - 9/15/20 - 5 p.m.

As a result of the state of emergency declared by the President of the United States, Governor of Kentucky, and Mayor of the City of Frankfort due to the global pandemic, and in accordance with recommended and mandated precautions related thereto and Kentucky Opinion of the Attorney General 20-05, the following Special Meeting Notice is issued:

I, John Cubine, hereby call a Special Meeting of the Frankfort Plant Board (“FPB”) for TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. at the FPB Administration Building at 151 Flynn Avenue, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.

This meeting will be conducted in-person pursuant to the Governor’s Healthy at Work protocols issued May 22, 2020 detailing the requirements to conduct in-person meetings or gatherings consisting of no more than TEN (10) people.

Moreover, per KRS 61.826 and Kentucky Senate Bill 150, this meeting is a video teleconference meeting for members of the public that are unable to attend in-person because of the TEN (10) person attendance limitation or otherwise. Staff, Board members or the public may participate by video teleconference link. The primary physical location for the video teleconference is the FPB Administration Building at 151 Flynn Avenue, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.

Per Kentucky Attorney General 20-05 and the Governor’s Healthy at Work protocols issued May 22, 2020 for in-person gatherings of TEN (10) people or less, the meeting cannot have more than ten (10) total in-person attendees including Board Members, Staff and the public because of the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and the need to follow Healthy at Work protocols to stop its spread.  

Because of the public health necessity of imposing social distancing to help stop the spread of COVID-19, the FPB Board is providing members of the public who cannot attend in-person the following link to access the meeting:
