The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.

 

 This Advisory was issued 12/21/20 due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by a contractor damaging the water main.

 

 The area effected was:

 

  740,765,770 Devils Hollow Rd

The Frankfort Plant Board water department has issued a boil water advisory for the following location:

740, 765, and 770 Devil’s Hollow Road

A vigorous boil is recommended for at least two minutes. The advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of water pressure in the water main by a contractor damaging the water main. The advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirm the potable supply in the affected area is safe to drink.

·     500 Bridgeport Rd

·     3206, 3250, 3260, 3270 Louisville Rd

 

A vigorous boil, is recommended for at least two minutes. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a leak on the water main.

 

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the effected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

Fiber Optic Internet Expansion Brings Gigabit Speeds to FPB Customers

More than 6,000 Frankfort Plant Board customers will soon have access to internet download speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second. In addition, after months of constructing a cable fiber optic network, FPB staff reports that by spring of 2021 the service will be available to nearly 30 percent of its customers. This kicks off a 5-year plan to bring gigabit speeds to all FPB’s service territory, as well as residents currently unserved by broadband service.
