Hydrant Flushing Locations for 6/7/2021

FPB Water crews will be flushing fire hydrants at the following locations on Monday, June 7th.

  1. South Frankfort


Hydrant flushing is necessary to maintain the integrity and quality of the distribution system and to ensure hydrants are functioning properly. This will also allow FPB to obtain firefighting flow information, which is shared with city and county fire departments.


Boil Water Advisory Harmony Landing Ct/ River Ridge

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the following area:

·     697, 699 River Ridge Road

A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a main break.

 

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

service from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. in the following areas:

·     Weber Ct.

Hydrant flushing is necessary to maintain the integrity and quality of the distribution system and to ensure hydrants are functioning properly. This will also allow FPB to obtain firefighting flow information, which is shared with city and county fire departments.


Scheduled Electric Outage in Leawood/Cloverdale area

On Saturday morning, June 5, the electric department will upgrade the facilities in the Leawood/Cloverdale area. This will require an electric outage from 8 a.m. to noon.

The following areas will be affected:

Louisville Rd. from Collins Ln. to Leawood Dr.

Plaza Park Dr.

Thistlewood

Belvoir

Brookhaven

Cross Hill

Raintree

Ridge Rd.

Thistle Rd.

Inwood

Edgemount

Boil Water Advisory Cancellation - Conway St

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.

 This Advisory was issued 5/27/21 due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by plant board crews tying into the new water main on 2ND St.

 The area affected was:·

  • 15, 317 West Second St.

  • 214, 216, 220 (#1, #2, #3, #4), 223, 224, 225, 227 Conway St.
