Boil Water Advisory Canceled - River Ridge Rd. Area

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.

 

This Advisory was issued 8/10/22 due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by plant board crews repairing a water main break.

 

The area affected was:

 

 

 

·      River Ridge Rd.

·      Still Water Ct.

·      Darby Shire Cir.

·      White Water Ct.

·      River Bend Rd.

·      Collins Landing.

·      Palisades Dr.

·      Signal Ridge Rd.

·      Pinnacle Ct.

·      River Oak Dr.

·      Crown Point Dr.

·      Lock View Dr.

·      River Bluff Dr.

Boil Water Advisory - River Ridge Road area

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the following areas:

• River Ridge Rd

• Darby Shire Cir

• River Bend Rd

• Palisades Dr

• Pinnacle Ct

• Crown Point Dr

• River Bluff Dr

• Still Water Ct

• White Water Ct

• Collins Landing

• Signal Ridge Rd

• River Oak Dr

• Lock View Dr

A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board advises to boil the water before drinking or using it for cooking. The advisory is in effect for the following area: 

  • Hillcrest Ave.

  • 756 Owenton Ave.

  • 101 Henry St.

  •  744 Fields Ave.

 A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Plant Board crews repairing a water main break.

**UPDATE** Power Outage

The previous outage has now been resolved and power should be returned as normal. For any addtional concerns or questions feel free to contact us at (502)352-4372. Again, thank you for your patience & understanding.

There is currently a widespread power outage affecting a large portion of the West side of frankfort as well South Frankfort. Most but not all areas affected include Pinnacle Ct., Marshall Ct., Parkside Dr., Clay St., W Campbell St., Rive Ridge Rd., Glass Ave., Ewing Ct., etc. (Some streets in these areas but not mentioned the outage will also include) Crews have been notified & are responding to the situation. Power will be restored as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
