Power Outage Indian Hills- Powhatan, Chinook, Quachita area

Currently we are experiencing a power outage in the area of Indian Hills. This outage is not affecting the entire neighborhood. Looks to be a large area still, streets such as Powhatan, Chinoook and Quachita are off. This is affecting other customers on nearby streets as well.

Crews are on scene and working to resolve this as soon as possible. Those in the nearby area who still have power may be experiencing loss of internet and cable. This is directly related. Once the power comes back on the other services should be restored quickly.

As of now, there is no exact time frame of when services will be back on. If you are on oxygen and need medical assistance please contact 911.

Boil Water Advisory is now Canceled - E Main

The Water Department of the Frankfort Plant Board is notifying you that the Division of Water of the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection has now canceled the Boil Water Advisory.

This Advisory was issued 2/6/24 due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by plant board crews modifying the existing water main.

The area affected was:

·      100, 110, and 112 East Main St.

·      315, 406, and 408 High St.

·      100 and 106 East Broadway St.

·      100 and 119 West Broadway St.

Notice of Interruption of Water Service - High St. / Broadway St.

Tuesday 2/6/2024, there will be an interruption of water service from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. in the following areas:

1.  100, 110, and 112 East Main St.

2.  315, 406, and 408 High St.

3.  100 and 106 East Broadway St.

4.  100 and 119 West Broadway St.

 Immediately following there will be a Boil Water Advisory.

 A vigorous boil for at least two minutes is recommended. This Boil Water Advisory is a precautionary measure due to a loss of pressure in the water main caused by Frankfort Plant Board crews modifying the existing water main.

This Advisory will remain in effect until lab analysis of water samples taken confirms that the potable water supply in the affected area is safe to drink. You will receive a notice when the advisory is lifted.
