Need More Zombies?

AMC is developing a companion series for The Walking Dead to launch in 2015, with Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert acting as executive producers.

Network boss Charlie Collier called the spin-off a "no brainer." "We look forward to working with Robert, Gale and Dave again as we develop an entirely new story and cast of characters," he said in a statement. "It's a big world and we can't wait to give fans another unforgettable view of the zombie apocalypse." -tvguide.com

Season 4 of The Walking Dead premieres on AMC channel 54 and in HD on 554 on Sunday, Oct. 13.

Zombie Preparedness

So how do you survive a zombie outbreak?  As the Center for Disease Control (CDC) will tell you, the first step is being prepared:

"There are all kinds of emergencies out there that we can prepare for. Take a zombie apocalypse for example. That’s right, I said z-o-m-b-i-e a-p-o-c-a-l-y-p-s-e. You may laugh now, but when it happens you’ll be happy you read this, and hey, maybe you’ll even learn a thing or two about how to prepare for a real emergency."  -blogs.cdc.gov
