Altrusa Community Gala

The inaugural Altrusa Community Gala is Saturday, September 21 5:30 to 8:30 at the 1st Baptist Church by the Singing Bridge 201 St. Clair Street, Frankfort, KY  40601. There will be a silent auction, spaghetti dinner and music. The cost is $20 per individual/$30 per couple. All proceeds go to the Mission Frankfort Clinic.

2nd Annual Bash in the Bluegrass

Also, Saturday – at the Frankfort Convention Center is the 2nd Annual Bash in the Bluegrass that supports Hospice of the Bluegrass.

7:30 - 11:30 p.m.

Tickets: $75 per person - Groovy Casual Attire

The Bash in the Bluegrass features the R&B, Soul and Funk stylings of The Soul Pocket Band and will get your feet moving at Frankfort’s hippest party to benefit patient care in Anderson, Franklin, Owen and Woodford counties. The Frankfort Convention Center will be transformed into a party palace for you to enjoy. Get decked out in your grooviest threads, join your friends and support Hospice of the Bluegrass!

Aviation Day

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, in conjunction with the Kentucky National Guard, will host Aviation Day at Capital City Airport in Frankfort, Saturday, Sept. 21.  The event is 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. For more information, visit http://www.cca.ky.gov or call the Capital City Airport at (502) 564-3714.
