NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: November 17, 2026
/The Electric and Water Plant Board of the City of Frankfort, KY will hold a Regular Board Meeting to conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 17, 2026 at 5:00 pm or as soon thereafter as can be heard, at the Frankfort Plant Board Administration building located at 151 Flynn Avenue, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601 to solicit oral or written comments regarding changes to the net metering policy. Proposed changes include additional requirements mandated by the FCC and clarifications to how excess credits are measured and billed.
Public comments will be accepted for the public hearing by emailing comments to kpoe@fewpb.com or clindsey@fewpb.com by Tuesday, November 17, 2026. Those wishing to speak in person at the meeting should notify kpoe@fewpb.com or clindsey@fewpb.com by 12:00 noon Tuesday, November 17, 2026.

The policy changes are proposed to be effective January 1, 2027
