June 2, 2021 Notice of FPB Special Board Meeting

As a result of the state of emergency declared by the President of the United States, Governor of Kentucky, and Mayor of the City of Frankfort due to the global pandemic, and in accordance with recommended and mandated precautions related thereto and Kentucky Opinion of the Attorney General 20-05, the following Special Meeting Notice is issued:

I, John Cubine, hereby call a Special Meeting of the Frankfort Plant Board (“FPB”) for WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the FPB Administration Building at 151 Flynn Avenue, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.

This meeting will be conducted in-person pursuant to the Governor’s Healthy at Work protocols effective May 28, 2021 detailing the requirements to conduct in-person events and limiting attendance to 75% capacity for activities in a single room or space.

Moreover, per KRS 61.826 and Kentucky Senate Bill 150, this meeting is a video teleconference meeting for members of the public that are unable to attend in-person because of physical attendance limitations due to COVID or otherwise. Staff, Board members or the public may view and hear the meeting by video teleconference link

The primary physical location for the video teleconference is the FPB Administration Building at 151 Flynn Avenue, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.

Per Kentucky Attorney General 20-05 and the Governor’s Healthy at Work protocols effective April 19, 2021, in-person attendance is limited to 75% capacity for activities in a single room/space and the need for appropriate social distancing.

Because of the public health necessity of imposing social distancing to help stop the spread of COVID-19, the FPB Board is providing members of the public who cannot attend in-person the following link to access the meeting:
