Kentucky State Senior Games

The 2013 Kentucky State Senior Games are going on right here /right now in Frankfort and Franklin County. The games go through Sunday, September 8th. Many of the great events will take place over the next couple of days including: racquetball, basketball, archery, track and field among others. Old Reel Collectors National Convention

Frankfort Kentucky River Fest

Saturday the 7th. - Help keep the King Center Afloat. All the fun you could have at Riverview Park located at 404 Wilkinson Blvd. just across from the Capital Plaza Hotel. Registration opens at 8am with events beginning at 9am and lasting through the day with awards ceremony at 5pm. This is a GREAT time of year to hit the Farmers’ Market. Fresh, locally grown vegetables, local meats, cheeses and more. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 7 am through sellout at River View Park.
