Frankfort Plant Board (FPB) Preferred Cable customers now have a wild, new cable channel on their lineup. Nat Geo Wild (NGW) is a sister network to the very popular National Geographic channel and launched on FPB’s Preferred Cable tier February 28, 2014. NGW focuses on animals and animal-related programming.

FPB Cable-Telecom Superintendent John Higginbotham expects the addition to be extremely popular. “This is prefect programming for children and anyone who loves animal-related shows.”

NGW features known shows like “Dog Whisperer”, “America the Wild” and “World’s Deadliest” and an entire lineup that appeals to viewers that enjoy animal and animal-reality programming.

Customers will have the added opportunity to view NGW programming via FPB’s Video on Demand service in the coming weeks. Higginbotham thinks NGW has a perfect mix of programming for the entire family.  “Nat Geo Wild features entertaining and educational programming and fits perfectly within our stable of family-friendly networks.”
